In a separate survey of 1,221 adults who used psychedelics outside controlled research settings, 81% wanted therapist support during psychedelic experiences, while only 15% had received it.
People are already taking the journey. The shortage is not interest. It is informed, accessible support.

Inner EDGE Travel Academy™ provides education and training in psychedelic facilitation, with an emphasis on trustworthy information, harm reduction, risk management, ethical practice, preparation, traveler support, and integration.
Our training does not bypass federal, state, or local laws. Completion does not confer state licensure or independently authorize you to provide psychedelic services. iETA is pursuing state approval as our program develops, but our Pilot Cohorts are not currently state-approved licensure programs.
Why train now? Because people are already exploring psychedelics, and people are already supporting them. In a rapidly developing field where formal standards and access to training remain limited, we believe better information and better preparation matter.
Education is not authorization. Better preparation still matters.
How might you use your training?
Travel Agent and Flight Attendant are not separate tracks, licenses, job titles, or promises of employment. They are interwoven applications of the same curriculum, showing how graduates may use preparation, journey-support, and integration competencies within their existing work, independent services, community roles, or personal practice.
The Academy does not place graduates into jobs or guarantee clients, income, licensure, or eligibility to provide regulated services. Each graduate remains responsible for defining an appropriate scope, meeting any requirements that apply, and operating within the laws of their jurisdiction.
The purpose is readiness and accountability: replacing improvised support with stronger preparation, judgment, boundaries, and care.

Develop the presence, protocols, boundaries, and practical skills required to provide grounded, in-person support during an altered-state experience. Graduates remain responsible for working within the laws and professional requirements governing their location.

Coursework builds knowledge. The Inner EDGE Facilitator Simulator supplies something a textbook cannot: an unlimited supply of realistic facilitator-consultation practice.
Students can enter consultations with distinct client archetypes again and again, learning to recognize what to listen for, what to ask, what not to say, and when a boundary or referral matters.
Each consultation creates a safe place to practice judgment, language, listening, and professional boundaries, make mistakes, reflect, and try again before those skills are needed with a real client.

The Baggage Claim integration journal series helps facilitators support travelers when they return from the work trip. Six-hour live Saturday sessions online via Zoom, currently scheduled from 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (PST), including breaks.

The Spring 2027 cohort will follow the same six-hour live format and online Zoom delivery.
Final dates and schedule details are expected in January 2027.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need prior psychedelic-facilitation experience?
No. The program establishes a professional foundation while also expanding the skills of coaches, educators, peer supporters, and helping professionals.
Will this training authorize me to provide psychedelic substances?
No. The program provides facilitator education and does not grant legal authority to possess, distribute, prescribe, or administer controlled substances.
Will I be licensed after completing this program?
No. Completion of the Pilot Cohorts does not confer licensure in Colorado or any other state. Inner EDGE Travel Academy™ is pursuing state approval as the program develops, but the Pilot Cohorts are not currently state-approved licensure programs.
Are Travel Agent and Flight Attendant separate training tracks?
No. They are interwoven professional applications taught throughout one comprehensive curriculum. Students develop preparation, journey-support, and integration competencies so they finish the program with options for using their training responsibly within their professional scope and governing laws.
Does completing the program guarantee employment or clients?
No. Inner EDGE Travel Academy™ does not provide job placement or guarantee employment, clients, income, or a particular career outcome. The program develops knowledge, practical skills, professional accountability, and client readiness. Graduates decide how to apply that training within their qualifications, scope, and local laws.
Will I receive initials to use after my name?
Graduates receive an Inner EDGE Travel Academy™ certificate of completion. Any Academy professional designation or post-nominal initials will be announced only after the credentialing standards are finalized. An Academy designation would represent completed training, not state licensure.
Do I have to provide in-person journey support?
No. Because Travel Agent and Flight Attendant applications are interwoven throughout the curriculum, graduates may choose how to apply their training within their professional scope and local laws.
What makes the Pilot Cohorts different?
Pilot students receive the complete training at 50% off standard tuition and provide structured feedback that helps refine the Academy experience.
What happens after I apply?
After you submit your application, our faculty will review it carefully. Selected applicants will be invited to participate in a recorded Zoom interview. Following faculty review of both the application and interview, accepted applicants will receive a private enrollment link with tuition options and required enrollment paperwork. Enrollment is confirmed once the required payment is received.
